Jessie Kauffman came to Logos Academy Harrisburg in 2018. Because she grew up in a home with challenges similar to those faced by many of our students, Jessie resonated with our mission. She was intrigued by the opportunity to start a brand-new first grade classroom. But the most important aspect, and the thing that keeps her coming back (even after hard days) is that teaching at Logos Academy Harrisburg is “so much more than academics.” She explains, “I get to teach their hearts. Quality academics is essential, but at Logos Academy Harrisburg we are encouraged to
pause to address social and emotional issues.”

Our small class size allows for tailored learning and moments to “teach the hearts” of students as they grow into young men and women in a Christ-centered environment.
