The person in this position will support the lead teacher in delivering grade-level instruction aligned with the Danielson Framework for Teaching and the school’s SEAD-Focused approach to education, which emphasizes students’ social, emotional, academic, and discipleship growth. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, implementing instructional activities, preparing classroom materials, and supporting student learning through small group and individualized instruction. The ideal candidate will help foster a structured, positive classroom environment by reinforcing behavioral expectations and utilizing trauma-informed and PBIS-aligned practices. Strong collaboration with the lead teacher and positive communication with families are essential. Ongoing professional development and teamwork with colleagues are important parts of this role.
